Earlier today, we talked about how the Galaxy S24 Ultra could possibly feature 4K/120 FPS recording as well as seamless 4K/60 FPS zoom. Now, another tip has surfaced that is hinting that the camera on the phone is going to be a lot more powerful than the earlier reports that we have seen.
The Galaxy S24 Ultra’s 8K/60 FPS recording could be a dream come true, but the quality has to be really good
Apparently, a new leak has surfaced showing the camera interface of the Galaxy S24 Ultra, and it appears that the phone is going to support 8K/60 FPS. If this does happen to be true, then you are going to get some serious camera prowess at hand. However, at the same time, this does raise some concerns, and I would like to see Samsung address them once the phone finally comes out.

You see, 8K recording is something that has been around on Galaxy S phones for some time now. However, the Galaxy S24 Ultra is said to go as high as 60 frames per second, which is very impressive, but I want to know just how good the quality is going to be. If the quality is going to be something that you can use, then we will surely have a winner on our hands, but if not, then Samsung will need to make some software optimizations.
Whatever the case might be, the Galaxy S24 Ultra is going to go official on 17th January. We are expecting the Unpacked event invites to start rolling out later today, and once they do, we will keep you posted. You can also expect a lot more details to be unveiled in the coming week, so be sure to keep checking back for all the information you want on the upcoming flagship.
Do you think 8K/60 FPS video recording is something that is viable for smartphones, or should Samsung just remove this feature altogether? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
